OCEANUS17
Product descripton: OCEANUS17 by ZeroUSV
The OCEANUS17 is a fully autonomous uncrewed surface vessel (USV) engineered for persistent, long-endurance maritime operations. Designed for demanding bluewater missions, it combines a modular 20-ft ISO payload bay, hybrid propulsion, and full system redundancy to deliver sustained offshore capability without the need for onboard personnel.
Persistent. Modular. Mission-ready.
Technical specifications
Operating Environment
Designed for demanding bluewater operations, OCEANUS17 features a certified aluminium hull and dual-redundant systems that ensure safe, continuous operation in harsh marine conditions.
The vessel is capable of operating across:
- Survey operations
- Launch and recovery operations
- Transit operations
- Survival conditions up to Sea State 8
Mission Endurance
With an endurance of 50–100 days, OCEANUS17 supports persistent offshore presence, extended station-keeping, and large-area mission coverage without frequent operational intervention.
Typical Operations
- Long-duration offshore survey campaigns
- Persistent maritime sensing and ISR
- Subsea inspection and intervention support
- Oceanographic and environmental monitoring
Payload & Flexibility
OCEANUS17 is designed to support complex multi-system missions through a highly flexible modular architecture. Its 9.0 × 2.8 m aft deck accommodates a full 20-ft ISO payload with a capacity of up to 4,000 kg, enabling integration of containerized mission systems, launch and recovery equipment, and autonomous subsea platforms.
The platform supports a wide range of payloads, including hydrographic survey systems, oceanographic sensors, inspection modules, multibeam echo sounders (MBES), side-scan sonar (SSS), magnetometers, and integrated launch and recovery systems for ROVs and AUVs.
A gondola keel positioned 1.7 m below the waterline provides a stable, low-noise environment for acoustic and subsea sensors, while integrated power and data connections enable rapid payload deployment with minimal integration effort.
