The QL Tandem Fixed-Wing VTOL UAV from ZIYAN Tech is a high-performance hybrid unmanned aircraft engineered to deliver extended endurance, high cruise efficiency, and true runway-independent operations. Its advanced tandem-wing configuration, combined with a quad-rotor VTOL system, merges the precision and hover control of a multirotor with the range, speed, and efficiency of a fixed-wing platform.

Designed to operate in complex and constrained environments—including mountainous terrain, plateaus, remote regions, and undeveloped areas—the QL eliminates the need for launch or recovery infrastructure. Vertical takeoff and landing enable rapid deployment from confined spaces, while seamless transition to fixed-wing flight ensures long-range mission execution with reduced energy consumption.

Aerodynamic performance is further enhanced by a rear-mounted propulsion system, which minimizes airflow interference, reduces drag, and increases propulsive efficiency. This tail-mounted engine layout also frees valuable internal fuselage volume, allowing for a larger and more flexible payload bay. The modular payload compartment can be customized to support mission-specific dimensions, power requirements, and sensor integrations.
