DIODON HP30

The DIODON HP30 is a compact, ultra-light maritime ISR UAS designed specifically for operation in demanding aquatic environments. Its waterproof inflatable airframe allows the system to be deployed, recovered, and operated directly from the water, providing a capability that conventional UAVs may struggle to deliver in rough maritime conditions.

The HP30 combines rapid deployment, autonomous self-righting, and day/night EO/IR sensing in a highly portable platform. Its environmental resilience makes it suitable for maritime surveillance, search and rescue, vessel operations, and other missions where exposure to water, rain, wind, and low temperatures is expected.

Environmental & Maritime Resilience

The HP30 is designed to maintain operational capability in conditions that can challenge conventional airborne systems:

• IP67-equivalent waterproofing
• Sea State 4 operation, with waves up to approximately 2.5 m
• Wind tolerance up to Beaufort 7
• Operation in temperatures down to −10°C
• Designed for continuous heavy rain
• Floatable and recoverable directly from the water

Maritime & Coastal Surveillance
Persistent aerial observation of coastal areas, vessels, and maritime activity using EO/IR sensors.

Search & Rescue
Rapid deployment from vessels or coastal locations to provide aerial situational awareness and support the detection of people in the water.

Vessel Operations
Provides aerial reconnaissance and situational awareness during maritime inspection and boarding operations.

Waterborne & Remote Operations
The compact inflatable architecture enables deployment where storage space is limited and conventional launch/recovery infrastructure is unavailable.
