FLYOX
Product descripton: FLYOX by Volatus Aerospace
The FLYOX is an autonomous heavy-lift unmanned aircraft designed for long-endurance, high-capacity operations in remote and demanding environments. With a maximum payload capacity of 1,500 kg and up to 24 hours of endurance in surveillance configuration, it combines the capabilities of a large logistics aircraft with persistent airborne sensing and mission support.
The platform can operate from paved or unpaved surfaces and supports BVLOS operations, enabling deployment where conventional aviation or ground logistics infrastructure may be unavailable. Its modular payload capacity allows the aircraft to transition between heavy logistics, firefighting, ISR, search and rescue, and humanitarian missions.
Key Operational Capabilities
- Operations from paved or unpaved surfaces
- BVLOS capability with SATCOM-enabled communications
- Long-range communications via VHF/UHF/HF/SATCOM
- Up to 1,560 L water/retardant capacity for aerial firefighting
- Real-time data collection and transmission for persistent situational awareness
- Designed for operation in remote, hazardous, and infrastructure-limited environments
Primary Mission Profiles
Aerial Firefighting
The large liquid payload capacity enables the FLYOX to transport and deploy substantial quantities of water or fire retardant for wildfire response and suppression.
Long-Endurance ISR
The combination of extended endurance, sensor integration, and long-range communications enables persistent surveillance and real-time situational awareness over large areas.
Heavy Logistics
The 1,500 kg payload capacity supports transportation of substantial cargo, equipment, and supplies to isolated locations without relying on conventional ground infrastructure.
Search & Rescue
Extended airborne persistence and real-time communications support wide-area search, disaster monitoring, and coordination of rescue operations.
Humanitarian Operations
The aircraft can deliver high-volume supplies and equipment to remote or infrastructure-compromised areas, providing an autonomous alternative to conventional logistics.
