Raybird ACS-3 Hydrogen Hybrid

Long-Endurance Low-Signature ISR UAV

Product descripton: Raybird ACS-3 Hydrogen Hybrid by Skyeton

Raybird ACS-3 is a hydrogen-electric hybrid version of Skyeton’s Raybird reconnaissance UAV, replacing the conventional internal-combustion propulsion system with an electric motor powered by a hydrogen fuel cell.

The platform is designed for long-endurance intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions where reduced acoustic and thermal signatures can provide operational advantages. The hydrogen-electric configuration currently offers approximately 12 hours of endurance, with the manufacturer targeting up to 20 hours.

Key capabilities:

  • Hydrogen-electric propulsion: electric motor powered by a hydrogen fuel cell
  • Low acoustic signature: significantly quieter than the internal-combustion Raybird
  • Low thermal signature: near-absent thermal signature compared with the ICE-powered version
  • Extended operating altitude range: manufacturer reports a broader working altitude envelope
  • All-weather operation: designed for operation from −35°C to +55°C
  • ISR mission focus: suited to persistent reconnaissance and surveillance tasks
  • Field-oriented hydrogen logistics: supports replaceable pre-filled tanks or mobile hydrogen-generation infrastructure
